Ian Blanchard co-founded Maya Universe Academy, a K-8 free private school dedicated to providing education to underprivileged youth in rural Nepal. From 2011 to 2019, he served as a teacher and coordinator for the school's agriculture program. Returning to the US in 2019 in anticipation of the arrival of his first child, Ian delved into puppeteering with Arbor Buddies. His roles include voicing numerous lively puppets, enriched by his background as an educator, naturalist, and gardener, adding charm and interest to our puppet shows. Presently, Ian is a garden designer, and leads school groups on nature hikes to explore the wonders of plants and fungi.
Charles Brumbaugh met Nick in 2022, and took interest in Arbor Buddies for his own children, ages 2 and 6. With his love for music and passion for technology, he soon realized there was much he could contribute to the show. Since then he has worked with Nick to produce the music and sound effects for the show. Charles is a computer technician by trade, and also works p/t at UPS.
